President Muhammadu Buhari met behind closed doors with former Lagos State Governor Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The Nigerian News Agency (NAN) reports that one of the president’s photographers, Sunday Aghaeze, confirmed this in pictorial reports Tuesday night in Abuja.

The agenda of the meeting between the president and the national leader of the Congress of All Progressives (APC) could not be determined at the time of the presentation of this report.

Tinubu had picked up the APC’s ruling presidential candidacy and expression of interest forms at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Friday.
