Covid-19: 51 new cases confirmed

The NCDC this evening announced that there are 51 new confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Taking to their Twitter page, the NCDC announced the breakdown of the new confirmed cases in the following states ,Lagos 32; Kano 6; Kwara 5; FCT 2; Oyo 2; Katsina 2; Ogun 1; Ekiti 1.

As at 10:10pm, 17th of April, there are 493 confirmed cases of Covid-19 reported in Nigeria.

So far 159 fully recovered patients have been discharged as the number of deaths closes up to 17.
