Set in Norman Gothic architecture and a picturesque environment, the Cathedral Church of Christ is one of the top historical

monuments located in Lagos, Nigeria.

Established in 1869, the

church is the oldest Anglican Cathedral and it is located in Marina. At different times in history, the cathedral was the seat of the

archbishop and primate of All Nigeria, and the seat of the archbishop of the Province of West Africa. It is currently the seat of the Bishop

of Lagos.
