First Lady Of Lagos At Women’s Wing Of South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA 2023) Launch

I joined others at the launch of the Women’s Wing of the South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA 2023) held at the Haven Event Centre, Ikeja.

At the event, i emphasized the need for women to get their Permanent Voters Card and be ready to fully participate in the electioneering process. We must all come to terms with the fact that our votes truly and really count, and we should not be deceived to kowtow to the false narrative that votes don’t count.

I also appreciate the decision of SWAGA which is a group founded with the objective of actualizing the presidential ambition of our great leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to honour me with the Distinguished Women Leadership Award.

The award, according to the organizers, is in recognition of our modest efforts of worthy leadership role and advocacy for women's involvement and participation in governance and political process. This will definitely go a long way toward reinforcing my resolve to continue to advocate for the protection of the rights of women and their active participation in the political and governance process. #ForAGreaterLagos
