How To Make The Most Out Of Your New Week
It’s the start of a new week, and truly, transitioning from the weekend to a very busy week can be a little distressing and daunting.
To help you with this, I'd like to share with you some tips that can help you get the most out of the new weeks, especially the Mondays and Tuesdays:
Cut yourself some slack
I know you've just come from a space of lounging to a space that requires intense work and productivity, so as a default, you want to take on all the goals headfirst. But no, ease into it. Taking on too much might lead to burnout.
Map out what you need to do in the new week
I have realized that not sorting out your goals or plans into defined boxes can make it seem so overwhelming. So, write out your tasks and put them in categories. Say, personal tasks for the week, official tasks for the week, health tasks for the week, and so on.
The weekend is mostly lazy. With so much time at your disposal, you can tend to go through your tasks loosely with a little less discipline than is necessary, and it could work because it's the weekend. But, channeling that same energy to the weekdays is ill-advised.
So, set times for each goal using your calendar or other scheduling apps. This helps keep discipline and it takes you closer to an empty to-do list.
Transitioning can be hard but these are steps that can aid ease.
Have at it.
