Nigerians In Diaspora America (NIDOA) Distribute Palliatives In Lagos
In line with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu T.H.E.M.E.S agenda, of making Lagos a 21st century economy and ensuring Diaspora inclusion, The Senior Special Assistant Diaspora and Foreign Relations Mr Jermaine Sanwo-Olu on behalf of the Lagos State Government received and helped in distributing palliatives from Nigerians In Diaspora Organization, America (NIDOA) to members of the Ayobo community in Lagos State on Friday May 22.
The exercise, which is part of NIDO Americas USA’s WECARE COVID-19 palliatives initiatives, in partnership with the Organization of Women in International Trade(OWIT) Nigeria Chapter is aimed at helping those whose means of livelihood has been affected due to the coronavirus pandemic. Mr Sanwo-Olu, urged residents of the community to ensure that they maintain good personal hygiene and contact the Lagos State Government and Ministry Of Health if they suspect any coronavirus related case. Food packages consisting of Rice, Beans, Garri, Oil, Maggi, Facemasks were distributed to the beneficiaries.
NIDO America under the leadership of Ms Patience Ndidi Key, have shown passion in supporting the Government and reaching out to the vulnerable in the society.
