Pelumi Nubi Gets A Historic Welcome In UNILAG
I am thrilled to have joined the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, and the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, to receive Pelumi Nubi, the first black woman solo driver from London-Lagos at the University of Lagos Campus.
As the Head of The Lagos State Office of Diaspora Affairs (LASDA), I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the organizers of this event and commend Pelumi Nubi for showcasing the power of the Nigerian diaspora spirit, known for overcoming limitations and being successful, just like the spirit of Lagos.
