Georgia State House Recognition

In a bid to foster sister city relations with the State of Georgia and in preparation for the Lagos State Diaspora Stakeholder Meeting in Atlanta, I consider it a great honor to have been recognized by the entire Georgia State House Of Representatives and to be the first Lagos State Government official to have been.

The State of Georgia holds strong diasporic significance and that's why I've spent my time building solid relationships with African Americans, the Georgia State Representative Black Caucus leaders, and our very own Rep. Segun Adeyina, Rep. Solomon Adesanya, and Rep. Gabe Okoye.

I am confident that our collaborative efforts will help us build an impactful Lagos State Office Of Diaspora Affairs that will benefit both the diaspora and the people of Lagos.

Special thanks to Rep. Segun Adeyina, Eko Club Atlanta President, Hon. Deji Ajiboye, Hon Khairat Animashuan, and ECI's Dr. Tayo Ogunyemi for their support.

I have no doubt that with efforts like this, the Lagos Diaspora will contribute to the manifestation of Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu's vision of #GreaterLagosRising.
