Access Bank Creates Initiative To Reward Selfless Nigerians

The coronavirus has left the world in a state of desperation and panic as some Nigerians who were struggling to make ends meet, not only fight for their lives against the pandemic but also against hunger.

As a result, Access Bank have observed certain Nigerians who have taken it upon themselves to see to it that they reach out to those who need help the most.

Many have done these by handing out food packs, provisions, and, free hand sanitisers etc. While they have carried out this action as an act of kindness without a reward in mind, these are the heroes Access Bank wants to celebrate by empowering them to do more.

The initiative tagged #MyCovid19Hero allows the general public to nominate people who have been performing acts of kindness to those who have become most affected by the realities associated with social distancing.

The reward is also as selfless as their acts itself; the opportunity to do more by donating cheques weekly to charities of their (winners) choice.

Interested participants in this campaign should nominate a hero by posting their picture on Instagram and writing a caption that states what the hero has done using the #MyCovid19Hero.

Shortlisted nominees will be announced on the brand’s official social media pages where people vote for their weekly heroes through Instagram likes.
