Ghana's 67th Independence Day Celebration in Lagos
Lagos is a beautiful bouquet blossoming with cultural diversity, and over the years, it has been home to so many Ghanians who have become our brothers and sisters, husbands, and wives.
I had the privilege of representing the Lagos State Government at Ghana's 67th independence celebration in Lagos over the weekend. I delivered a goodwill message, in which I spoke of Governor Sanwoolu's achievements and expressed our gratitude for the impact Ghanians have had in Lagos and Nigeria, from education to commerce.
Even today, the Lagos State Office Of Diaspora Affairs, which I head, has learned a lot about diaspora engagement from their brilliant example. Here's wishing all Ghanians a happy Independence Day."
